Just had an issue 3 weeks ago with the office in New Bern giving me the wrong contacts and arguing when I told them they were wrong (like I didn’t know I couldn’t see or the RX was wrong on the box). Anyway, after 3 trips with awesome Dr. McKeel, we finally got a close enough RX for contacts and when I called to order them, was told my insurance didn’t cover anything. So I waited a week, called back and decided to order 1/2 to make it affordable. THIS time the person I spoke with on the phone said “oh your insurance will pay $100 towards your contacts”. Just to think, that the person a week ago that didn’t know what they were doing may have kept me from getting contacts at all. I am not having luck with anyone in New Bern but Dr. McKeel and whoever this last office person was who understands insurance.

I came in to see if my glasses, which had sustained 2 chips in the lenses, were covered under warranty. The sales associate, Erin (not sure of her name spelling), was very courteous and immediately placed an order for replacements. Additionally, I asked for an eye glass case for my wife, who did not receive one when she had her lenses replaced. Erin gave me a beautiful case and some lens cleaner in a nice gift bag. My wife loved it!

I recently visited the West Arlington Office in Greenville and had a wonderful experience. The staff and doctor (Dr. Jeff Sterling) were so kind and accomodating. My visit was timely and an overall great experience.
I will definitely be back.

I was experiencing swelling of a portion of the eye. I called Doctors Vision Center and they said that I should be seen that day. At the office, I had to wait for about 30 minutes to be seen, but considering I was a “walk-in,” that has to be expected as they have other scheduled patients to be seen. I was more than happy with the staff; Heather, Courtney, and some I can’t recall their names, and Dr Beck. The doctor was short and to the point, but that is what I prefer in any physician. I don’t like sugar coating. Bottom line – I was seen same day, diagnosed correctly, prescribed the correct meds, and the swelling is subsiding and the eye is feeling better. Thank you to all of the staff and Dr Beck. I would, and actually have already, recommend them to others, including the physicians and other medical professionals in my practice.
